TLS sources both locally and through overseas wholesalers and publishers.  We can supply to a Dewey classification, genre or subject profile, standing order list, and gap fill.  We can supply across formats, including large print, CDs, DVDs, and e-books.  We have extensive expertise in the supply of New Zealand, Māori, and specialist technical resources. We will research, locate and supply any book in print from anywhere in the world.

Back Order Reports

TLS can provide you with a monthly backorder report that details unsupplied orders. As soon as publishers advise us, we will inform you of delays in publication, significant price changes, out of print reports and any other status information.

Selection

TLS has significant expertise in selection and will select to a defined collection profile, and work cooperatively with collection specialists and advocates, to ensure collection development goals are met. We can also assist you in developing your collection profiles.

Cataloguing

TLS provides a full-cataloguing service to your specifications, utilizing Dewey (22^nd edition), Anglo-American cataloguing rules (2^nd ed. 2002 revised), MARC 21, and Library of Congress subject headings, and will add holdings and records to your catalogue and to national databases.  TLS is abreast of changes related to the introduction of RDA (Resource Description and Access).

Shelf-Ready Services 

TLS provides a comprehensive processing service to your specifications, including book covering using material of your choice, reinforcement, tattle tape, barcodes, stamping and CD processing. We also offer spine labels, pockets, library stickers, spine and genre labels.

Account Manager 

An Account Manager is assigned to all customers.  The Account Manager is a professionally qualified librarian, with experience in your sector.
