TLS is New Zealand owned and operated.  We are located in a new warehouse/office complex in Albany, alongside major publishing houses in Auckland's fastest growing business area.

TLS is a division of Techbooks (originally Technical Books), which was established in the 1940s to provide technical special interest books and subscriptions.  Library supply became part of the service mix over the years.  In 1998 Colin Greenwood established Total Library Solutions (TLS), formerly known as Techbooks Library Services. The inspiration for TLS came from the library profession itself, with library customers seeking reliable local supply from a company that understood the business of libraries.

TLS was initially recognised as a specialist library supplier for New Zealand, Māori, Pasifika, and technical publications, but as customers requested mainstream international supply TLS responded by providing a total supply solution.

Our dedicated team are just an email or phone call away.  We are specialists in library supply, selection, cataloguing and processing.  We are your library workroom at a distance, and our team take considerable pride in delivering seamless solutions.

Colin Greenwood, founder and Managing Director of TLS, leads the team.  Colin has had a significant career in the book trade, and is ably supported by a team of professionally qualified librarians, and technical support staff.
